8foldlabs is a venture and investment lab. We build software products and invest in emerging technology - two distinct lanes run from one workshop.
Some of what we make solves a problem we have ourselves. Some is a larger bet on where things are heading. The throughline is simple: build useful things and back the ideas worth believing in early.
We design and ship focused software - native apps and web tools built to be small, sharp and genuinely useful. Our first shipped product, Snap Mockups, is a batch mockup generator for independent makers. More come out of a daily building practice that compounds over time.
We invest in and build within emerging technology ecosystems, with a current focus on decentralized AI. We back early teams and infrastructure in the networks we believe will matter, and contribute real operating experience where we can.
The name is a quiet nod to the Eightfold Path - eight principles held as a way of working: right view, right intention, right action, right effort and the rest. The 8 doubles as an infinity sign stood upright.
We don't lead with any of it. People who know the reference feel it; everyone else just senses something considered. We start simple, build in focused blocks and let the work grow into what it wants to be.
